Role Summary
Is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the property, ensuring a pleasant and sanitary environment for guests and staff altogether. The Housekeeping Attendant will perform a variety of cleaning duties, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning of areas assigned.
Responsibilities
- Attends shift briefings
- Clean and tidy all assigned areas within the establishment, including guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets and rugs, ensuring they are free of debris and stains.
- Mop floors in accordance with established safety and cleanliness standards.
- Change bed linens and towels as required.
- Replenish amenities such as toiletries and cleaning supplies.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in a sanitary manner.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
- Assist guests with inquiries or requests as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Follows established Code of Conduct
- Adheres to policies e.g. Lost & Found, Baysitting, etc.
- Keep fire exits and stair ways clear of any obstruction
