Job Description

RESPIRATORY THERAPIST III

1. Provides leadership in patient care by ensuring high-quality and evidenced-based respiratory therapy services and oversee the development and implementation of patient care plans, adjusting as needed based on individual patient needs and changing conditions.

2. Establishes and monitors quality indicators for patient care, conducting regular audits to ensure adherence to protocols and best practices and contributes data to strategic plans and reviews.

3. Monitors staff schedules and equally distributes workload to ensure adequate coverage and efficient patient care delivery.

4. Develops and reviews clinical protocols, guidelines, and best practices in accordance with relevant healthcare regulations, standards and licensure requirements to ensure standardization of care across the unit.

5. Oversee the maintenance and proper utilization of respiratory therapy equipment and ensures that equipment is calibrated, cleaned, and functioning effectively to provide safe and accurate patient care.

6. Collaborates with pulmonologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans.

7. Conducts regular performance evaluations for therapists, providing constructive feedback and recognizing achievements.

8. Performs other related functions as may be assigned.


Qualifications/Requirements

SALARY GRADE: 17 – Php 43,030

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy
Training: Eight (8) hours of relevant training
Experience: Two (2) years of relevant experience
Eligibility: RA 1080 (Respiratory Therapist)
OFFICE: Personnel shall be detailed at Pulmonary Unit
