A.JOB SUMMARY:
To render excellent Pulmonary services through a high quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in order to help physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients illnesses and diseases.
B.STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Carries out the doctors order as requested for any diagnostic and therapeutic procedure under pulmonary services.
2. Provides and make records of patients required data, diagnostic and therapeutic evaluation and other patient care pertinent documents.
3. Reports to duty as scheduled with consideration on any changes that may occur.
4. Provides assistance to customer needs and guidance to facilities needed upon request.
5. Listens and attends verbal customers complaints/concerns and when necessary, facilitates endorsement to immediate superiors immediate response.
6. Notifies the immediate superior of whereabouts during duty, and when late or absent.
7. Maintains strict patient confidentiality with regards to test results and reports.
8. Keeps the Head RT informed regarding untoward incidents, conditions that need attention like breakage and destroyed hospital properties.
9. Uses materials and supplies for pulmonary departments purposes and not for personal reasons.
10. Follows instructions and established procedures in the discharge of duties and functions.
11. Performs other task that may be assigned by the superior.

D. DIRECT REPORTS
Reports to the Head Respiratory Therapist.
E. QUALIFICATIONS
1. A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy.
2. A licensed Respiratory Therapist
F.TRAINING/SKILLS NEEDED
1. Had undergone at least (3) three months training in a Pulmonary Unit in a hospital.
2. Had attended Basic Life Support and Advance Cardiac Life Support seminar.

1. Nebulizer machine.
2. IPPB machine.
3. Ultrasonic nebulizer machine.
4. Pulmonary Function Test machine.
5. Pneumatic compression device.
6. Pulse Oximeter.
7. Arterial Blood Gas analyzer.
8. BIPAP/CPAP machine.
9. Bronchoscopy Tower.
10. Mechanical Ventilator.
11. Percussor, Spontaneous Parameter, Peak flow devices.
