Hotel Reservations Agent Job Duties
Hotel reservations agents have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
• Ensuring guests’ satisfaction by responding to any concerns they may have during their stay
• Processing new reservations, including collecting payment information such as credit card numbers or other forms of payment
• Updating existing reservations with any changes requested by guests
• Communicating with guests throughout their stay to ensure their needs are met
• Answering questions about hotel services, facilities, and activities
• Resolving conflicts between guests and staff members
• Providing information about local attractions and activities
• Coordinating the flow of incoming and outgoing guest traffic by maintaining accurate records of reservations and room assignments
• Providing guests with information about rates and other policies, including cancellation policies
