New Product Development/ Product Improvement/ Reformulation
• Responsible in preparation and weighing of ingredients and meat materials required in laboratory scale experiment.
• Responsible on filling out Manufacturing Order Slip and Disposition Notice Slip.
• Conducts actual batch trial runs on the assigned new product development or reformulation.
• Conducts stability testing of products under developmental stage (Freeze Thaw Freeze Test, pH Monitoring, Sensory Evaluation and Microbiological Testing).
• Prepares and cooks finished good samples for sensory evaluation, taste test of Leadership team and Sales for sampling to clients.
• Conducts big group sensory evaluation for trials conducted from 20 to 100 members to serve as data for any change in the product.
• Conducts time and motion study together with Production and Finance.
• Conducts data gathering at Production Floor needed on establishing standards for the new product
• Responsible on submitting samples to QA Lab for different analyses (Salt Analysis, Texture Analysis, Microbiological Analysis etc.)
• Responsible in creation of Withdrawal Slip, Receiving Tally Sheet from Dry and Alaska Warehouse.
• Conducts establishment of case configuration (boxing guidelines).
• Assists in packaging development projects with Marketing (Artworks, Bromide, LSD).

Alternative Raw Material/ Alternative Supplier Development
Food Category
• Evaluates sample raw materials (meat and spices & ingredients etc.) for possible cost savings and/or development of alternative material and/or supplier.
• Conducts product applications for new/ alternative raw materials.
• Creates raw material evaluation reports for evaluated raw materials.
• Responsible in creation of Withdrawal Slip, Receiving Tally Sheet from Dry and Alaska Warehouse.
Non-Food Category
• Evaluates submitted nonfood samples (tape, box, casing, cartons etc.) for possible cost savings and/or alternative supplier.
• Conducts product applications for new/ alternative raw materials.
• Monitors performance of the raw material after product application.
• Creates raw material evaluation reports for evaluated raw materials.
• Responsible in creation of Withdrawal Slip, Receiving Tally Sheet from Dry and Alaska Warehouse.
Process Improvement/ Continuous Improvement Projects
• Conducts data gathering in relative to the process improvement project
• Responsible on submitting samples to QA Lab for different analyses (Salt Analysis, Texture Analysis, Microbiological Analysis etc.)
• Responsible in creation of Withdrawal Slip, Receiving Tally Sheet from Dry and Alaska Warehouse.
New Toller Development
• Conducts data gathering at Production Floor needed on establishing standards especially during development of potential Tollers whether for hotdogs and traditional deli.
Documentation
• Gathers data for creation and update raw material specifications.
• Gathers data for creation and update J&F finish goods specifications.
• Creates and updates Raw Material Specification and of Finished Product specifications.
Office and Laboratory Management
• Responsible in safekeeping and inventory of R&D Samples.
• Operates and maintains R&D equipment at its good condition.
• Responsible for monitoring R&D Office and Laboratory Upkeep and Maintenance.
Support to Other Departments
• With access in SAP as Material Master (Tagging of OB).
• Conducts establishment of bundling guidelines for bundling promo of Marketing and Sales.
• Prepares and cooks samples for Sales sampling to clients.
Continuous Learning
• Conducts in-house trainings to other departments related to field of expertise.
