Job Description

A. Member-Centric Research
     1. Conduct surveys, focus group discussions, and other research methods to understand the needs and expectations of cooperative members.
     2. Analyze cooperative trends, member feedback, and industry benchmarks to recommend relevant solutions.

B. Product and Service Development
     1. Design and develop new cooperative products and services to meet member needs, such as savings programs, loans, or livelihood initiatives.
     2. Enhance existing products and services to remain competitive and member-focused.

C. Process Improvement and Innovation
     1. Evaluate current processes and workflows within the cooperative and recommend enhancements.
     2. Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and member satisfaction.

D. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
     1. Partner with cooperative departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to implement R&D initiatives.
     2. Engage with external stakeholders such as regulatory bodies, partner organizations, and research institutions for collaborative projects.

Qualifications/Requirements

A. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cooperative Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree is an advantage.

B. Experience: At least a year of experience in research, development, or project management, preferably in a cooperative or social enterprise setting.

C. Skills: a.) Strong understanding of cooperative principles and values. b.) Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis, and report writing. c.) Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. and d.) Effective communication and presentation skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
