Job Description

Country Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, business development, sales performance, and strategic direction of the company within the Philippines. This leader ensures the execution of the brand’s local strategy in alignment with global goals, manages cross-functional teams, and fosters growth through partnerships, retail expansion, and market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute the company’s strategy in the Philippine market.

Identify opportunities for market expansion, growth, and optimization.

Align local business goals with regional and global strategies.

Sales & Marketing

Drive revenue and profitability targets through effective sales initiatives.

Oversee national sales operations, retail presence, and channel development.

Collaborate with marketing to ensure brand consistency and local market engagement.

Operations Management

Supervise day-to-day operations across all departments (sales, logistics, finance, customer service).

Ensure efficient supply chain and inventory management.

Monitor KPIs and implement performance improvement strategies.

Team Leadership

Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing local team.

Foster a strong company culture aligned with corporate values.

Stakeholder Engagement

Manage key partnerships with retailers, distributors, government bodies, and media.

Represent the company in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

Compliance & Reporting.

Ensure full compliance with local regulations, labor laws, and financial standards.

Provide regular business reports and updates to headquarters.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Maximum of 10 years of experience in sales, operations, or general management—preferably in tech, retail, or distribution sectors.
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of the Philippine market and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Proficiency in business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, ERP systems.)
