Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

Guest Greeting and Welcoming:
Providing a warm and welcoming first impression to all guests entering the restaurant.

Reservation Management:
Managing reservations, whether through phone calls, online bookings, or walk-ins, and ensuring efficient seating arrangements.

Customer Service:
Addressing guest inquiries, providing information about the menu, specials, and restaurant services, and handling special requests or complaints.

Coordination with Staff:
Communicating guest needs and preferences to servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Maintaining Order:
Ensuring the reception area is organized and presentable, and assisting in maintaining the overall flow of the restaurant. 

Qualifications/Requirements

- A bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Tourism, or a related field is often preferred, though a high school diploma or equivalent may be sufficient, especially with relevant experience.

- One to two years of experience in a receptionist or customer service role, particularly in a restaurant setting, is often required.
