  • Radiologic technologist's job description involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and other technologies. They prepare patients, operate equipment, and ensure safety by minimizing radiation exposure. Radiologic technologists also assist radiologists in interpreting images and may specialize in areas like CT, MRI, or mammography. 
  • Operating equipment like X-ray, CT, MRI, and other imaging modalities to produce images of the body.
  • Preparing patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety. 
  • Implementing radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to both patients and staff. 
  • Ensuring the quality of the images produced to facilitate accurate diagnosis. 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • PRC (Professional Regulation Commission) license in Radiologic Technology.
  • Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiation physics is essential.
