Patient communication and preparation including removal of garments or jewelry that may interfere with procedure and explaining how the process works
Positions patients properly to obtain X-rays
Adjustment of the equipment settings to obtain the best density, detail and contrast of the area for imaging.
Taking preventive measures or steps to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation
Applies knowledge of anatomy and physiology to the process in order to help the physician diagnose problems.
Performs X-Ray Exposure
Prepares radiological reports
Accomplishes X-ray forms
Forwards x-ray images to the Radiologist for reading and interpretation.
Encodes the official radiological report
Maintains and files x-rays forms.
Ensures proper maintenance, calibration and function of x-ray machine
Requests supplies needed in the X-ray section.
Monitors proper inventory supplies
Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the X-ray room
Prepares and submits monthly reports.
In-charge in the renewal of film badge right after the expiration date
Records x-ray results in the appropriate logbook.

Licensed Radiologic Technologist
With at least 2 years experience as X-ray Technologist in medical clinics or hospitals
With certified training/seminars in Radiologic Technology or related field
