JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring that the quality tasks, policies, procedures and systems are implemented and adhered to by the plant and these consistently conform to Sugbu ACS Food Manufacturing Corporation and Government Regulatory Agencies. The function is recognized in the plant and is given the authority to hold / reject non-conforming products and to stop the line, approve / reject materials that do not conform to the standards in consultation with the QRD Supervisor and Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Quality Assurance
1. Conducts the following audits as scheduled with Department Head;
- GMP/HACCP Audit
- Pest Control
- Cleaning and Sanitation
- Process Audit
- Suppliers Audit
- Finished Goods Audit
- Store / Trade Check
- All other types of quality audit as deemed necessary
Ensure action plans are in place to close gaps. Report any non-conformances or findings and
timely and accurate recommendations.
2. Ensure that the Food Safety Programs from raw/packaging materials through finished product are implemented.
3. Monitor continuous implementation of Quality Management System and accurate record keeping.
4. Ensure incoming materials are within set Specifications through random inspection during material receiving.
5. Daily random monitoring at production line to check performance of raw and packaging materials, check product quality, and consistent implementation of Food Safety System.
6. Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory wares and equipment.
7. Inspect condition of product returns to verify quality and impose preventive actions.
8. Assist research and development batch run in the line and during Transfer of Technology (TOT).
9. Perform laboratory analysis necessary as part of line monitoring.
10. Check and monitor retention samples and report any off specifications observed within the declared shelf-life.
11. Random monitoring of delivery vans and personnel hygiene during dispatch activity.
12. Monitor and ensure accuracy of Improvers prepared for production including records.
13. Reports Weekly updates as assigned by Superior.
14. Complete Monthly reports as assigned by Superior.
15. Participates and support Food Safety activities.
