As a Software QA Engineer, you have the opportunity to make a difference in our clients, the community, and within yourself.
You will be collaborating with team members and our clients in ensuring that the applications that we develop and the processes we use comply with defined specifications.
You will guide our clients in managing their test activities and processes, and drive their testing strategy to help them achieve their goals and make a difference in the lives of their customers.

Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct manual testing activities (functional, regression, integration) to ensure product quality and identify defects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, scenarios, cases, and summary reports.
  • Utilize API testing practices and tools (e.g., Postman) to validate responses and ensure API reliability.
  • Report defects and track issues using bug tracking tools, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
  • Communicate testing progress, results, and insights effectively to team members and stakeholders.
  • Participate actively in project meetings, providing QA insights and recommendations.
  • Assist the test lead in monitoring testing activities.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing training and support in testing methodologies and tools.
  • Participate in training sessions and quality initiatives at Stratpoint to develop proficiency in testing methodologies and tools.

Qualifications/Requirements

About You
You are/have:
Graduate of any computer related course
At least 3 years of professional experience in Manual Software Testing, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Familiarity with API testing practices and proficiency in validating responses using tools like Postman or similar frameworks.
Experience in testing web and mobile applications across multiple browsers (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari), devices (e.g., desktop, tablets, smartphones), and operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify, isolate, and document complex defects.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Proven ability to mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Adaptable and flexible in responding to changing project requirements, priorities, and environments
