Key Responsibilities:
• Process procurement requests from various departments, ensuring construction materials and services are sourced efficiently.
• Manage daily purchasing activities, including vendor sourcing, price negotiation, and order placement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality materials and timely deliveries.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to optimize costs and improve procurement efficiency.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to product quality, delivery, and contract terms.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure the best pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier agreements, invoices, and inventory reports.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in purchasing or procurement within the construction industry is required.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software is a plus.
