Job Description:
  • Administer a variety of psychological assessments and standardized tests to students across different grade levels.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and special education teams to develop assessment plans and strategies for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Interpret assessment results and provide clear and concise reports outlining students' cognitive, academic, and behavioral profiles.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide valuable insights to assist in the development of appropriate interventions and accommodations.
  • Analyze assessment data to identify trends and patterns, contributing to the continuous improvement of educational programs and curricula.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of psychometrics, assessment techniques, and educational best practices.
  • Assist in training school staff on assessment protocols, data interpretation, and appropriate utilization of assessment information.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to explain assessment results, answer questions, and provide recommendations for supporting their child's educational progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessment administration, results, and related documentation in compliance with regulations and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field. 
  • Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist, Psychometrician, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret assessment data and provide actionable recommendations for educational planning.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey assessment results to various stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and administrators.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
