The Psychometrician is primarily responsible for securing, developing, and administering tests, interpreting results and developing conclusions that can provide basis for decisions on student admission and retention, academic and co-curricular programs for students, and action on applicants for employment into the University.
1. Performs job functions consistent with the institution's mission and vision statements.
2. Prepares and implements the testing, research and evaluation program in coordination with the guidance counselors and academic administrators.
3. Recommends the use of relevent psychological and aptitude test and assessment tools; Undertakes the acquisition of the identified instruments and arranges for licensing if necessary.
4. Administer and scores psychological test and evaluation instruments as conceptualized in the testing and research program; interprets and records test results.
5. Administers scores and interprets results of admission test to applicants for entry to the University or for admission.
