Job Description:
The Senior Project Manager will coordinate the schedule, the budget and the issues and risks of the project. It’s their job to make sure the project is well-organized, and it runs smoothly. This can include communicating with various departments in the organization to make sure everyone is on the same page.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Coordinating mixed race teams and establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria, as well as define, monitor, and review all project economics including costs, operational budgets, resources, and risks.
2. Help establish an organizational project management discipline and serve as an ambassador for the adoption of project management fundamentals, principles, and methodologies with the company.
3. Meet with management and represent the company to meet Japanese expatriates, clients, and staff to understand business requirements.
4. Provide communication assistance with Japanese companies related to construction business.
5. Liaise with the client to keep informed of project’s progress and to make relevant recommendations.
6. Evaluate the project situation periodically, make and recommend adjustments when needed.
7. Attends to client’s enquiries, prepare and present commercial proposals.
8. Perform other tasks related thereto and that may be assigned to him time to time.
