Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful implementation, integration, and
customization of IT projects, from initiation to full customer production rollout.

General responsibilities:
 Plan all aspects of project from initial team size, resources required from initial phase
through implementation
 Document and receive sign off on overall project plan, including next / ongoing plan phases
 Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure the appropriate resources are available and
leveraged onto the engagements
 Write Project Plan

Functional responsibilities:
 Proven strong Organization, Planning, Risk Analysis, Controlling, Negotiation, and
Communication (verbal/written) skills required
 Maintain open communication with stakeholders including calling Governance Meetings and
resolving/ escalating conflict
 Strong leadership qualities
 Strong management qualities including ability to motivate while managing the project plan
 Establish and define the theoretical basis and principles for estimating project effort and
duration, while analyzing customer needs and recommending appropriate technical solutions
 Take meticulous notes and distribute reports, so as to thoroughly articulate issues and to
escalate as needed in order to obtain resolutions
 Maintain the project schedule in coordination with various workgroups using project
management tools (MS Project, JIRA)

Technical responsibilities:
 Plan, control, and coordinate the development of projects from the initial definition phase,
taking the concepts and following through to a successful deployment
 Consult with internal and external entities to clearly determine the roles and requirements of
each stakeholder involved in the project / solution
 Expertise in using MS Project with experience in resourcing loading/leveling, calendaring,
etc.

Delivery responsibilities:
 Manage and lead multiple teams on implementations with both onsite and offsite delivery
models/components
 Identify major milestones and establish critical path within the project plan while monitoring
and reporting progress toward milestones on a daily or weekly basis as required
Establish regular touchpoints with various stakeholders (e.g. daily / weekly / monthly
meetings or reviews)
 Monitor and adjust the project schedule as needed to ensure timely delivery in line with
 Project Sponsor expectations, ensuring that deadlines are met
 Identify and mitigate project risks and define the strategy for doing so
 Escalate project issues or concerns to Project Owner/Sponsor
 Foster and maintain good relationships with different departments, both internal and external
(other entities)
 Seek out and champion new development, configuration and implementation efforts for
continuous improvement of the project / engagement

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:
 5+ years of project management experience implementing applications under various
methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
 Experience managing / leading multiple teams on implementations with both onsite and
offsite delivery models / components
 Strong communication skills, with an ability to express complex business concepts in
technical terms via presentations and written forms
 Previous development and programming experience desired but not required
 SCRUM training or certification highly desired
 Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
