Job Description

  • Review and project in-depth analysis of programme deliverables and contractors deliverable for CSA works (lhardscape, infrastructure and civil/structural works).
  • Coordination, oversight and management of construction progress, site management, alignment of various contract package interface to MEPF, ELV, Landscape, Archi/Fit-Out, Kitchen and Laundry, Acoustician, and all other trade packages.
  • Procurement and Commercial Management where necessary, engagement in selection and tendering procedures for CSA works and compliance to procurement strategies established by the PM and Client side including OSM quality check and review.
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, photographic reports, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.
  • Materials tests witness and review, facilitating design coordination and communication with the necessary parties, risk analysis and mitigation brought by Design vs actual site condition for all CSA works (hardscape, infrastructure and civil/structural works).
  • Risk analysis and mitigation recommendation, programme tracking, and Client directions monitoring for all CSA works.
  • Facilitate and/or lead in weekly coordination meeting with the package contractors and other stakeholders, alignment and review of critical conflicts or issues that needs to be resolved.
  • Construction oversight on quality management, direct quality control, organization and collaboration with the contractors' Construction Managers and other Regular daily site visits including, but not limited to, Client site inspections, offsite inspections, QA/QC inspections, safety inspections and any other inspections where deem necessary.
  • Prepare and maintain consistent up-to-date report on construction progress, quality and safety.
  • In collaboration with the Sr. Construction Manager and Sr. Project Manager, conduct a daily coordination with the team in delegating reports generation and oversight.
  • Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions in accordance to the companywide system procedures.
  • Manage, organize and coordinate the package contractor/s to execute their work in accordance with program, design documents, specifications and contract payments.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover as well as interface between contract package contractors, suppliers and/or vendors.
  • Ensure utilization and full implementation of PM-CM System - including risk assessment and method statements analysis, review/confirmation to concrete pouring requests, inspection work requests, permits, job hazard analysis, etc. and other pertinent pre-requisite construction documentations prior to work execution.
  • Align and collaborate interfacing to MEPF, ELV, Landscape, Archi/Fit-Out, Kitchen and Laundry, Acoustician, and all other trade packages.
  • Site safety management where necessary and collaboration with the safety management team.
  • Design and Construction Coordination meeting attendance and coordination with the design consultants in seeking approvals or clarifications for works to proceed, where needed.
  • Monitoring contractors daily, weekly and monthly reports and deliverable.
  • Any works or duties related to construction management that may be deemed required.


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Suitable licensed building/civil engineering technical qualification/degree
  • Preferably with Training in Health & Safety and Environmental management.
  • Must be Licensed Professional (Architect, C/S Engineering or Construction Manager)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Construction, QA/QC Management, Project Management.
  • Proven experience in managing site teams, including trade consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and all other third parties.
  • Must have experience in horizontal projects (resort and the like) and hospitality project(s)
  • Local experience in Mimaropa Region or willing to be assigned in Palawan
  • Experience of constructability reviews and construction input to the design development including through the Early Contractor Involvement.
  • Previous experience in complex project delivery environment.
  • Track record of developing design, construction methodology, program, and cost.
  • Experience in preparing for project delivery, covering resources, procurement, consents, and pre-start documentation.
  • Proven skills in managing, supervising, training, and mentoring site teams to optimize their work contributions.
  • Experience/Familiarity in reviewing contractual agreements/conditions and developing site-specific programs and forecast budgets.
  • Ability to assess actual program and productivity, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Reporting changes to the Construction Manager and QS department.
  • Demonstrated ability to requisition resources in a timely manner, ensuring correct specifications and availability to avoid impeding the construction program.
  • Proven communication skills in reporting non-conformances and client/designers instructions to relevant teams.
  • Experience in maintaining comprehensive records of resources used for additional works.
  • Strong track record of maintaining a detailed daily site diary, including changes/variations, subcontractor attendance, and records of discussions with the Client/Designer/Project Team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ensuring implementation and adherence to inspection and test plans, risk assessments, and method statements for controlling the works.
  • Proven track record of commitment to Health & Safety and Environmental Policies.
  • Experience in implementing relevant requirements of the Safety Management System within the designated responsibility area.
  • Proven communication and liaison skills, both internally with the Construction Manager, Design and Engineering Team, QA team, and Cost Control, and externally with contractors/suppliers, stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate closely with the Operations/Scheduling team.
