POSITION TITLE: MANAGER OF REGULATORY RESEARCH
Manager of Regulatory Research
The Manager of Regulatory Research is responsible for ensuring that the learning program is developed in compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, as well as industry best practices. This role involves submitting completed courses for accreditation, staying updated on regulatory changes that may impact the learning program, and ensuring that regulated content is appropriately represented. The Manager of Regulatory Research acts as a liaison with stakeholders for product planning and implementation, working towards the company's commercial goals.
The Manager of Regulatory Research oversees regulatory tasks, builds relationships with regulators, instructors, vendors, and contractors, and trains the regulatory research team. They establish and maintain a knowledge base for state and national education requirements, ensuring 100% compliance and retention. By working closely with product development teams, the manager ensures informed decision-making within regulatory frameworks and identifies new business opportunities based on changing regulations, thus maintaining current and industry-specific programs.
Responsibilities
•Managing research team for conducting regular research of laws, rules and any changes affecting 360training’s business to stay in compliance with the new rules and laws.
•Automating the research process and setting up procedures to document and use the researched data.
•Responsible to ensure the research team has clear understanding of all the regulatory requirements and approval/ compliance process for the assigned libraries.
•Responsible to gain new accreditations per business need. Also, ensures existing accreditations are timely renewed and retained.
•Responsible to help our compliance team to submit required documentation during any regulatory audits.
•Responsible for ensuring the team is well trained to work with the compliance team and keeps the website and product pages current and updated with the upcoming product related marketing changes for all libraries.
•Responsible for having precise and accurate documentation management system and provide accurate information to Product Development team when required.
•Responsible to ensure any/all regulatory related docs (approval letters, important notices etc.) are saved on secure server location.
•Responsible to ensure BI documents for all regulated libraries are development and current with all the applicable rule changes.
•Responsible to work with regulators at a state, County, Department and National level to develop and maintain a knowledge-based related to all levels’ regulatory requirements.
•Responsible for helping the research team to conduct ongoing research pertinent to meet industry compliance education requirements. Regulatory laws and rules research for any new business opportunity and perform regulatory research and analysis on any rule changes through state level website research.
Oversee research team’s communication with product development department for new course development and revision of regulatory courses.
•Responsible to assist and support research, renewals and reporting teams with the required information for course approvals, course renewals, compliance reporting and mandatory content updates.
•Responsible for Instructor research according to industry specific requirements and execute to sign the contract between contractor (instructor) and 360training.com.
•Responsible to maintain good relationship with the contractors and ensure timely payments are made according to the signed contract.
•Responsible to work with accounts team to ensure contractors are paid in timely manner.
•Responsible to coordinate with instructors of any upcoming instructor development workshops or course schedules required by the regulators.
•Responsible to ensure instructors keep their certifications/credentials updated as required by state regulators.
•Email coordination with internal and external customers related to any query.
•Stablishing good relationship with the regulators via email and phone.
•Responsible to review all the courses and associated paperwork, that have been released from the production to make sure they are meeting all the regulatory requirements before being submitted to the regulator for review and approval.
•Making sure new submissions and renewals are submitted timely before expiration date by communicating the info with renewals team.
•Responsible to ensure any/all tickets raised by learners related to regulated courses are being timely resolved by the research team within 24-48 hours.
•Responsible to analyze team’s performance and provide correlated training to the individuals where improvement is needed.
