1. Assists in the admission of patients.
a. Accompanies patient to room/bed.
b. Care for clothes and valuables.
2. Assists in the discharge of patients.
a. Accompanies discharged patients from ward/room and helps in carrying their things and baggage.
3. Admits patients, prepares for Internal Examination, and gets initial vital signs.
4. Gives enemas and does surgical skin preparation depending on whether the patient is for Caesarian Section or normal delivery.
5. Assists the physician during internal examination and other minor procedures.
6. Performs other functions and responsibilities which may be assigned by the immediate superior.
