Personal Care and Cleansing Startup Leader

• A resource supporting the quarterly Site Global Start Up Management (GSUM)+ Standard Work Process (SWUP) Healthcheck & Initiative Management Pillar Annual Assessment
• Support Global Start Up Management (GSUM+ training sessions, both formal classroom training and informal one to one/small group training
• Initiate project join up (GSUM+ Initiative Join Up)
• Own Start-up charter and population/alignment of PACE (P=Process Owner, A = Approver, C=Contributor, E=Executes) model for the Start-Up Work Process phases and project deliverables. (GSUM+ Initiative Execution Planning Process & Roadmap)
• Establish communication plan for start-up team (GSUM+ Initiative Communication Plan)
• Own the GSUM+ Initiative Roadmap and the development/tracking of the Integrated Action Plan for the change (GSUM+ Initiative Execution Planning Process & Roadmap)
• Own system identification and detailed system inclusions needed in order to prepare the required documentation and support the start up (GSUM+ Initiative System Definition)
• Establish pre-production budget and cost tracking (GSUM+ Initiative Pre-Production Budget and Cost tracking)
• Align with plant-level leadership (Engineering, Operations) on the project-specific start-up success criteria which also supports Platform or Sector Technical Readiness Success Criteria (GSUM+ Initiative Start-Up Success Criteria and Results)
• Initiate and lead manufacturing readiness (Operations Assessment and Manufacturing Deliverables) (GSUM+ Initiative Manufacturing Readiness Assessment)
• Initiate and lead PR risk assessment (GSUM+ Initiative Risk Assessment and Mitigation)
• Coordinate plant-level risk mitigation plan with external partners and operations and reflect in integrated action plan & start-up plans (GSUM+ Initiative Risk Assessment and Mitigation)
• Define and deploy a detailed Technology Transfer & Training plan (GSUM+ Initiative Technology Transfer & Training)
• Define and deploy an Integrated start-up plan and schedule (GSUM+ Initiative Integrated Start Up Schedule)
• Own integration of initiative deliverables into plant standard systems (e.g. proficy, track wise, Real Time Control Information System, Autonomous Maintenance standards, Progressive Maintenance standards, etc.) (GSUM+ Current Best Approach Initiative Manufacturing Readiness)
• Initiate & lead the GSUM+ materials plan (GSUM+ Materials Plan)
• Own plant-level start-up team/operations safety plan for change after construction turnover (GSUM+ Initiative Safety Plan)
• Own peer review process for initiative/project start-up plans (GSUM+ Initiative Start-Up Plan Peer Review)
• Enable early manufacturing involvement & input in project steps prior to start-up e.g. Design review/Vendor Acceptance Test/Overall Risk Assessment/Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis
• (GSUM+ Initiative Roadmap – Technical Readiness Touchpoints)
• Owns reporting results and tracking for the Start-Up Work Process through to the end of Initial Verification and for the overall completion of project deliverables to close out (GSUM+ Initiative Start-Up Success Criteria and Results Current Best Approach)
• Follow-up and partner with the project leader on Pre Startup Inspection/Post Start Up scope items.
• Participate in activities supporting continuous improvement of project execution (e.g. Project Loss Analysis Template, Learn From Experience)
• Own updates for masterplan, in process measures and output measures to the Change Masterplan and Dashboard over the life of their project(s)
• As required, develop and give presentations to various audiences and levels in the organization as the “voice of the project” giving updates, projects reviews, etc.
• Member of site/module Launch or Operations team
• Training and qualifying start-up team members and operations resources in GSUM+ Current Best Approaches and tools supporting all change
• For Initiatives execution, engages typically at “Definition”/“Strategy & Commitment” Phase:
a. Charters the initiative start-up team(s)
b. Accountable for all tasks on the GSUM+ Initiative Roadmap (or GSUM+ tracker) being completed on time
c. Owns the staffing and resourcing assignments/start-up support
• Leads and own the Daily Direction Setting process & communication with operations on progress against the GSUM+ tasks, deliverables and results
• Operations ownership of Pre and Post Start-Up list mitigation plans and the operations single point of contact for issue resolution and alignment.
• Supports core operations as required
• Owns reporting results and tracking for the Start-Up Work Process through to the end of Initial Verification and for the overall completion of project deliverables to close out
