PRODUCTION & OPERATIONS MANAGER (MANUFACTURING)

MANAGER OF DIE CASTING DEPARTMENT

• Well versed in the business of Die Casting Technology from years of related experience.
• Liaises with Customers and work closely with the President in meeting Customer Requirements.
• Plan, direct, evaluate, and improve production operation activities in accordance with the Standard of ISO 9001
• Establish and communicate customer requirements and production plans and related matters to various Departments.
• Formulate programs for effective operation in the area of responsibility and ensure development of subordinates.
• Supports the President in product development and pricing.
• Familiar and supportive of systems, policies, and procedures in place within the Department.
• Ensure adequate training is provided and is carried out according to plan as identified in the established Training Needs  Analysis. 
• Should be proficient and up to date with system requirements of ISO 19001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
• Understand customers and report the market situation to the Executive Committee.
• Evaluate production capacity on a regular basis so that it meets customer requirements. Ensures attendance of the key operating staff during management reviews.
• Support Internal Quality Audits to ensure that it is carried out without delay.
•   Establish a communication channel within the department to improve awareness about each person’s expected  contribution and responsibilities to the Company’s Integrated Management System.
• Ensure that the training needs of the personnel are identified, communicated and provided
• Ensures timely corrective action on all forms of non-conformance in the department.
