    1. Coordinate and receive from Production Supervisor the daily production schedule / line-up
  • 2 Coordinate with Production Supervisor and Agency Leadman on ensuring complete manpower for Pelleting/Crumbling operation
  • 3 Conduct initial Inspection of the Elevators, Feeders, Conditioners (DDC), Pellet mills, Coolers, CrumblerS (as needed), Blower fans, Airlocks and Sifters to check if operational
  • 4 Conduct lubrication/servicing/cleaning of machines before start of operation, during downtime or change of feed types if necessary.
  • 5 Coordinate with Mixer Operator on the feed type and bin destinations of mash for elevation. Monitor elevation to avoid overflowing of bins.
  • 6 Start the following machines: Elevators, Feeders, Conditioners (DDC), Pellet mills, Coolers, Crumblers (as needed),Blower fans, Airlocks and Sifters
  • 7 Ensure correct pelleting parameters (feeding rate, conditioning temperature) are set for every feed type for production
  • 8 Provide sample every 1st batch (if less than 5 batches) and every 5 batches thereafter of each feed type produced and coordinate with QA on quality parameters (hardness, percentage fines, PDI, product temperature) and make necessary adjustments if needed
  • 9 Instruct Bagger Operators to immediately discharge (bag out) pelleting set-ups to avoid intermixing with good product and return the bagged set-ups to batching line to be included on the next batch (same feed type)
  • 10 Ensure the correct bin destination of the finished feeds to avoid intermixing.
  • 11 Ensure allocation of enough emptying time in between feed types (change type) to avoid intermixing (at least 5 minutes)
  • 12 Physical inspection of bins to ensure it is empty before elevation of next feed type produced.
  • 13 Constantly coordinate with Bagging Operator to ensure continuous flow of bagging operation (avoid clogging and line traffic)
  • 14 Turn-over to next shift operator and/or Production Supervisor status of production
  • 15 Coordinate with Agency leadman to ensure cleanliness in the area
  • 16 Report and record all breakdowns/delay that may occur during operation
  • 17 Record all data per pellet mill line (Feed type, Time Start, Feeding rate, Conditioning Temperature, Time Stop, Number of batches pelleted, motor amp) 

Qualifications/Requirements

    • Must be a graduate of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • At least 3 years in related experience or exposure in Feed milling operation.
  • Must have good hand and eye coordination and familiar with the machine handled.
  • Has the ability to adapt in fast changing environment.
  • Can manage various projects simultaneously
  • Can apply 5S programs in the workplace
