Job Overview:
As a Repacker, you will be responsible for inspecting, repackaging, and organizing products that may have been damaged, incorrectly packed, or require repackaging for distribution. You will ensure that products meet quality standards and are prepared for shipment according to company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection: Examine products for damage, defects, or discrepancies, and determine the appropriate action for repackaging.
Repackaging: Repackage products into new containers or boxes as needed, ensuring they are securely packed and protected for shipment.
Labeling: Apply new labels or update existing labels to ensure accurate product information and compliance with shipping requirements.
Quality Control: Verify that repackaged products meet quality standards and match the original product specifications.
Inventory Management: Assist in managing and organizing repackaged products within the warehouse, including tracking and recording inventory changes.
Documentation: Complete necessary documentation for repackaging activities, including updating inventory records and creating reports on repackaging activities.
Equipment Operation: Use packing tools and machinery as needed, such as tape dispensers, shrink wrap machines, and label printers.
Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and orderly repackaging area, adhering to safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Communication: Report any issues with products, packaging materials, or equipment to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
