Job Description

Who are we looking for:
As a Supply Chain Assistant, you are expected to ensure efficient planning and organization of the distribution of goods. It involves monitoring stock levels, managing delivery schedules, preparing reports, and maintaining smooth communication with suppliers and other departments.Performs essential clerical and administrative tasks to assist in the seamless operation of the supply chain processes at Alfamart Trading Philippines.
  • Prepare service level reports for all suppliers, tracking performance and delivery efficiency.
  • Create Out of Stock (OOS) reports, providing information and updates for the merchandising team.
  • Draft and prepare POs for posting on the portal.
  • Update display file master settings for new items in the Distribution Control System (DCS).
  • Regularly review emails for updates, issues, and concerns from suppliers, merchandising, and other internal departments.
  • Prepare investigation letters for issues such as PO deletion, extension, or incorrect Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
  • Conduct stock analysis for expired POs delivered by suppliers, providing a basis for acceptance or rejection by the Supply Chain Department.

Qualifications/Requirements

What does it take to be part of the team?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 6 months of experience in supply chain or logistics roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to prepare detailed reports.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in managing data and documentation.
  • Proficient in using spreadsheets, databases, and supply chain management systems.
  • Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Basic math skills for inventory management and stock analysis.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
