  • Render advice, assistance, guidance and information on matters concerning optimization of the capacity and efficiency of VMC Boilers and Biomass Co-generation Power Plant (BCPP)
  • Assess that the Biomass Co-generation Power Plant (BCPP) pre-operational and operational standards are in consonance to the National Grid regulatory requirement
  • Optimize plant performance by providing coaching & training to plant personnel, and ensure plant parameters are within operational standards


Qualifications/Requirements

  • With 15 years + extensive experience and knowledge including but not limited to commissioning of power plants both local and overseas;
  • With 10-15 years of experience in handling operations and maintenance of biomass fired cogeneration power plant
  • Knowledge in the acquisition and maintenance of mechanical equipment and parts of 40mega watt or bigger, power plants;
  • Highly competent in the design, engineering and installation of power plants operating a steam generating unit having a pressure of 100 kg/cm2 and up;
  • Have strong leadership, interpersonal, management and collaborative skills with solid planning and organization aptitude and ability to look at situations from varied perspectives;
  • Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent; a post graduate certification in Energy Engineering is an advantage
