EXACT POSITION FOR EMPLOYMENT: PLUMBING TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

• Responsible in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures in the power plant

• Diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogged drains, and broken pipes using various techniques like soldering, welding and brazing;

• Installing new plumbing pipes, fixtures, and appliances according to blue prints and industry standards;

• Working with other tradespeople, such as electricians and general contractors, to coordinate plumbing installations and repairs;

• Ensuring all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations;

• Reading and interpreting blueprints to understand plumbing layouts and ensure proper installation.

• Reports directly to Chinese Site Managers


Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

• Male; With or without High School Diploma is a minimum requirement

• Prior work experience as a Plumber in a Power Plant is an advantage

• Can speak fluent Mandarin with excellent written and strong oral communication skills.

• Can read and write Chinese characters.

• Proven competency in reading, understanding, interpreting blue prints from China.

• Strong math skills for calculations and measurements

• Strong physical stamina and dexterity

• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues;

• Proficiency in using plumbing tools and understanding plumbing systems.

• Willing to be assigned and stay inside the power plant premises in Bani, Masinloc, Zambales
