1. Knowledge in interpretations of P& ID, isometric and general arrangement drawings, to
determine the exact location, quantities and size of the materials needed or required.
2. Inspect the work site to determine the presence of obstructions and to ascertain that holes
cut for pipe will not cause structural weakness and for site preparation.
3. Verifying dimensions, measurements, cutting, and pipe preparation for fit-up and welding.
4. Responsible for layout, fabrication installation and repair of A/G and U/G piping works at
different areas and maintains pipe systems, pipe supports, and industrial production and
processing systems, applying knowledge of system operation.
5. Restoring all the breaking lines. Align, bolt-up, and torque using torque wrench.
6. Cut pipe using a cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine. Threads pipe, using pipe
threading machine. Bend pipe using pipe bending tools. Torque pipes using torque bar.
7. Assemble and installs variety of metal pipes and fittings.
