DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Attends daily clinic operations and consultations.
-Oversees the patient's diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of occupational illnesses and/or injury.
-Performs first-aid and minor procedures as part of medical management. Dispenses medicines and provides prescriptions as needed.
-Oversees the performance of the Occupational Health Nurse (OHN)
-Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the medical facility at all times. Assist in Health and Safety regulation compliance and implementation in accordance with Health and Safety Standards of the Labor Code (as amended)
-Active participant in the company’s Health and Safety Committee
-Provide individual and group health teachings.
-Maintains good relationship with all client personnel.
-Promote his/her professional development in terms of educational skills and attitudes as to maintain current trends and practices.
-Conceptualizes new preventive health care activities for patients.
-Assist in the completion and interpretation of annual and pre-employment physical examinations of patients.
-Assist in the conduct of the drug testing when necessary.
-Actively participates in corporate activities and task forces assigned relevant to the corporate mission and vision.
-Assist in crafting, execution and monitoring company health policies
-Assist in the update and submission, as needed of relevant reports such as Employee’s Health Records (EHR)
-Preventive Maintenance Monitoring (iDoc Health Trackers)
Illness/Accident injury-related reports
-Government-mandated submissions such as Accident (ECC) Reports, Sickness Notification (SSS/PHIC), Annual Medical Reports, etc.
