Job Description

1. Responsible for reviewing and checking prescriptions, accurate and promptly dispensing of drugs and medicines to in-patients and out-patients of the hospital, and in providing patients with the proper medication counseling.
2. Participates in the inspection and monitoring of drug products in all treatment areas as well as the stockwards, equipment and requisition of such daily.
3. Checks and Monitors Temperature of Main Pharmacy’s stock room, dispensing area, preparation area and at the Satellite Pharmacy.
4. Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly inventory of pharmaceutical products in the pharmacy, satellite pharmacy, clinical areas, and central/bulk warehouse.
5. Updates and maintains Dangerous Drugs records.
6. Compound medications as prescribed .
7. Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program of the Pharmacy.
8. Provide drug information to doctors, nurses and other health care team.

Qualifications/Requirements

SALARY GRADE: 11 – Php 27,000

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
Training: None required
Experience: None required
Eligibility: RA 1080 (Pharmacist)
OFFICE: Personnel shall be detailed at Pharmacy Department
