Operations Manager to manage the purchasing and maintenance of company vehicles for delivery operations. This role involves making strategic decisions on whether to lease or buy vehicles, identifying and analyzing various cost factors, and implementing measures to optimize operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will regularly coordinate with senior professionals from China, Taiwan, and other Mandarin-speaking counterparts and clients to ensure seamless communication and collaboration on vehicle sourcing and cost management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage the procurement and maintenance of delivery vehicles.
- Analyze and decide on leasing versus purchasing options based on cost-efficiency and operational needs.
- Monitor and assess operational expenses, production costs, and overhead expenditures.
- Develop and implement cost-reduction strategies to improve profitability.
- Conduct regular reporting and analysis on fleet performance and cost metrics.
- Communicate and collaborate with senior professionals and Mandarin-speaking counterparts in China and Taiwan for vehicle sourcing, negotiations, and project coordination.
- Ensure compliance with local and international transportation and procurement regulations.
