Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our healthcare team. The OT will be responsible for evaluating and providing therapeutic services to patients with physical, mental, or emotional conditions that hinder their ability to perform daily tasks and activities. The goal is to help patients achieve maximum independence and improve their quality of life by using therapeutic techniques, adaptive tools, and strategies.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assess and evaluate patients' abilities to perform daily activities and identify areas for improvement.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques and adaptive devices to help patients regain or enhance motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.

• Teach patients and their families strategies to improve daily functioning, including adaptive techniques, home modifications, and the use of assistive devices.

• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding rehabilitation and the importance of consistent practice.

• Ensure patient safety and proper use of equipment during therapy sessions.


Qualifications/Requirements

• The company is willing to provide scholarships for Master’s degree program.
• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state where employed.
• Master’s degree Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• None NBCOT or NBCOT passers.
• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, therapeutic techniques, and adaptive tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
