Job Description

NURSING ATTENDANT - Bedside

Takes Vital signs and records accurately

Assists the patients in performing daily morning care during his/her stay in the unit
Assists the patient safely upon admission and discharge process
Monitors and records intake and output correctly
Sends properly labeled specimen to the laboratory
Facilitates patient's discharge documents for clearance following the turn- around time
Facilitates provision and inventory of linens on time
Facilitates completeness of patient satisfaction survey and patient experience protocol
Maintains cleanliness of the area at all times Basic
Performs other functions as may be assigned

NURSING ATTENDANT - Helper
Transports the patient while safely utilizing wheelchair/stretcher to and from the Nursing units/Diagnostic Center
Complies to safe replenishment of empty oxygen /compressed air tanks in the unit
Transports safely the cadavers to the morgue
Checks functionality and inventory of stretcher and wheelchair using Checklist Logbook every shift and refers to the Nurse Manager once out of order
Checks inventory of oxygen tanks by using Checklist Logbook every shift
Cleans wheelchairs and stretchers every shift and as needed
Performs other related functions as may be assigned

Education: Elementary School Graduate
Training: None required
Experience: None required
Eligibility: None required (MC No. 10, s. 2013, CAT III)
