a. Assists in giving baths to bedridden patients.
b. Feeds patients who cannot eat by themselves.
c. Gives oral feeding.
d. Performs simple nursing procedures (e.g. Perineal care, SS enema, refilling of hot water and ice packs).
e. Attends to hygiene needs of patients; changes diapers, linens and clothing of patients.
f. Answers patient’s call promptly.
g. Weighs patient and records in the chart.
h. Takes and records accurate vital signs as indicated.
i. Measures intake and output of patients and records in the chart.
j. Does sterilization/cleaning of feeding materials.
k. Reinforces health teaching of nurse on breastfeeding, bathing, cord care, home instructions, etc.
