Job Description

The Design, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will provide assistance in ensuring the alignment of the country direction with global strategies and needs both in the Head Office and Community Development Project Field Offices.

● Draft logic models for proposed projects in coordination with sector staff.

● Enhance and implement M&E systems for the organization.

● Research on grant proposal opportunities.

● Prepare grant proposals for multilateral, bilateral, and ODA projects collaboratively with sector experts.

● Design and execute baseline and endline data gathering of projects.

● Prepare regular M&E reports submitted to the Country Director and IHQ.

● Ensure the security of monitoring data for the organization.

● Assist in fulfilling responsibilities delegated for the Resources Development Division.

● Provide timely updates on tasks and deliverables assigned by the Resource Development Division Manager and organization Country Director.

Qualifications/Requirements

● A university degree in social sciences, development studies, statistics, economics or related field
● At least 5 years’ work experience and knowledge of research, information management and analysis processes.
● Experience in International / local non-government organizations is an advantage
● Willing to provide administrative and clerical support as necessary.
● Good communication skills, able to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues from diverse culture.
● Good proposal writing skills and project management experience
● Ability to work independently, under pressure, and with high level of commitment to ensure all outputs are achieved on time and to high standard.
● Ability to analyze, monitor and evaluate.
● Sensitive and adaptive towards culture, gender, religion, race, nationality, and age.
