Qualification (Education, Experience, Professional License, Skills Certification, Specialized Training)
• Bachelor's degree in any relevant field or its equivalent;
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in underground metalliferous mining;
• First Class Mining Manager Certificate (Aus or NZ) desirable;
• Experience in coordinating front-end design for underground ventilation, paste fill and de-watering projects is desirable;
• Practical experience in the execution of underground infrastructure projects is essential (de-watering, ventilation, paste reticulation, raiseboring);
• Strong communication skills, including verbal communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement;
• Demonstrated ability to manage change, promote innovation, and address challenges with urgency;
• Technical leadership and coaching experience to develop individuals and enhance team capabilities;
• Skilled in identifying and resolving issues, implementing preventative controls, and mitigating risks;
• Ability to hold oneself and others accountable to deliver high-quality results aligned with standards;
• Commitment to integrating leading operational and technical practices into all aspects of work; and
• Proven ability to build trust, cultivate innovation, and align team efforts with organisational goals.
