Job Description

• Supervise and Direct: Oversee the daily activities of team members, providing direction and ensuring tasks are completed according to standards.
• Schedule and Assign: Create work schedules, assign tasks, and manage workflow to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
• Performance Monitoring: Track team performance, providing regular feedback and conducting performance evaluations.
• Onboard New Employees: Facilitate the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Training Programs: Identify training needs and coordinate or conduct training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure that work meets quality standards and adheres to company policies and procedures.
• Problem Resolution: Identify and address issues related to work quality, efficiency, or safety.
• Team Meetings: Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, address concerns, and share important updates.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on team performance, operational issues, and other relevant metrics to upper management.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to support operational goals.
• Address Issues: Handle conflicts or disputes among team members, mediating and resolving issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Support: Provide support and guidance to team members to address personal or work-related concerns.
• Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Safety Practices: Promote and enforce safety practices and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Degree: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Management, or a specific industry-related discipline is often preferred.
• Certifications: Additional certifications relevant to the industry (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, or HR certifications) can be advantageous but are not always required.
• Relevant Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a role related to the industry or functional area. Previous experience in a supervisory or management position is typically preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific practices, standards, and regulations is often important.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team, including setting goals, providing feedback, and handling performance issues.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, peers, and upper management.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze situations, and implement effective solutions.
• Organizational Skills: Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with team members and address conflicts or concerns.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, or industry-specific applications.
• Decision-Making: Strong decision-making abilities, with a focus on making informed and effective choices under pressure.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with the ability to manage stress and maintain composure.
