1. In-Store Execution:
Merchandising:
Shelving: Ensure products are properly stocked, rotated (FIFO - First In, First Out), and displayed according to planograms (visual merchandising guides).
Facing: Maintain correct product facing on shelves to maximize visibility and customer appeal.
Pricing: Verify and correct pricing accuracy on shelf labels and price tags.
Displays: Set up and maintain point-of-sale (POS) displays, shelf talkers, and other promotional materials as directed.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels and identify potential out-of-stocks.
Conduct periodic inventory checks and report discrepancies.
Ensure proper handling and storage of products.
2. Sales & Customer Service:
Build Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with store managers and staff.
Provide Product Information: Answer customer questions about products and their features.
Promote Sales: Drive sales by highlighting promotions, special offers, and new product launches.
Gather Market Intelligence: Collect data on competitor activities, customer preferences, and market trends.
3. Reporting & Administration:
Daily Reports: Submit daily reports on activities, sales performance, and any issues encountered.
Competitive Analysis: Track competitor pricing, promotions, and in-store activities.
Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, submit expense reports, and comply with company policies.
4. Other Duties as Assigned:
Participate in training programs and meetings.
Assist with special projects and events.
Represent the company professionally at all times.
