The Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring product availability and maximizing consumer awareness and off-take by maintaining attractive and well-organized product displays in assigned outlets. The role requires strict adherence to merchandising guidelines, ensuring that products are displayed correctly and supported by necessary materials to increase visibility and sales.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Create and maintain visually appealing and effective product displays on shelves and in mass displays, ensuring adherence to merchandising guidelines.
  • Maximize product visibility by ensuring a full range of products and sizes are displayed, aiming for optimal product facing.
  • Maintain product hygiene and ensure that all products on display are clean, presentable, and attractive to consumers.
  • Ensure proper installation and availability of merchandising materials (e.g., posters, price tags) to support product displays.
  • Regularly conduct stock inventories in both the outlet warehouse and selling area.
  • Submit weekly inventory and off-take reports on time, along with other required reports.
  • Prevent stockouts by replenishing products and informing the Project Supervisor of low-stock items.
  • Monitor product batches and manage expiring or damaged stocks for withdrawal or reassignment.
  • Implement first-in, first-out (FIFO) method for inventory control.
  • Assist in special sales promotions (e.g., bundling, raffles) and in-store events as needed.
  • Monitor competitor promotions and provide timely feedback to the Project Supervisor.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding marketing plans and sensitive information.
  • Ensure punctuality, attendance, and presence in the assigned outlet.
  • Wear prescribed uniforms at all times and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Foster positive relationships with co-merchandisers and outlet staff.
  • Strictly follow company policies, guidelines, and the Code of Discipline.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • At least high school graduate
  • With or without merchandising experience
  • Must be organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit to handle the demands of the role (e.g., lifting, standing for extended periods).
  • No visible tattoo
  • Complete mandatory requirements (SSS, Pag-Ibig, Philhealth, valid NBI)
