A Medical Scribe is expected to:
  • Accompany the medical provider(s) throughout their patient encounters.
  • Record the history of the present illness, review of systems, and physical exam findings accurately and completely.
  • Input information into the electronic medical record (EMR) promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness of patient's medical record.
  • Refer laboratory results, imaging studies, and other data to the medical provider(s) for review.
  • Assure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act/HIPAA).

Qualifications/Requirements

What it takes to be part of our team:
  • Experience in medical scribe/transcription
  • Preferably with experience in the psychiatric industry
  • Medical course (psychology, nursing)
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility with work schedule and ability to work shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
  • Amenable to work onsite in Ortigas site
