POSITION TITLE:

 MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST (BATANGAS MEDICAL CENTER)


JOB SUMMARY:

The Medical Technologist designated as Routine Unit staff performs TB testing such as AFS, Culture, subculture, DST, and molecular diagnostic tests, weekly culture, and DST reading, receiving, and checking of isolates and specimen from RITM and Surveillance, submission of accomplishment reports and ensures implementation of ISO standards and 5S activities of the department.

Qualifications/Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology; Licensed Medical Technologist
An advantage:
Has previous experience working in the field of TB or HIV; with HIV Proficiency Training
Other/ Special Skills :
Requires minimal supervision and takes ownership of all responsibilities assigned. Flexible and able to work collaboratively with colleagues. Perform other functions as may be required by the immediate supervisor. Willing to do field work.
