Job Description

  • Perform phlebotomy in adults and infants.
  • Perform STAT/routine tests and procedures on specimen received in the hospital laboratory according to the protocols contained in the procedure manual with the observance of turnaround time.
  • Operate and maintain equipment and other instruments within each section according to the established principles and procedures.
  • Prepare reagents needed in each section to ensure continuous flow of work.
  • Prepare and encode report of official laboratory results through hospital system and release appropriately.
  • Record results in appropriate logbook consistently and accurately.
  • Rotate to the different sections of Clinical Laboratory such as Clinical Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Microscopy, Clinical Microbiology, Serology and Immunology, Histopathology and Blood Banking. 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Graduate of BS in Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science; with updated PRC license.
  • At least 1 year laboratory experience, but open for fresh passers.
  • With sense of urgency and goal -oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills.
