Job Description

MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN II – 1 vacant position
Engineering Facilities and Equipment Management
1. Performs calibration, set up, installation and repair of assigned medical equipment (basic and medium category)
2. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance including electrical and mechanical safety component of the medical equipment.
3. Performs electrical related installation and other repair if needed.
4. Coordinates with outsourced provider the testing, commissioning, evaluation and corrective maintenance of the medical equipment.
5. Guides and educates other professional hospital staff for the proper use and maintenance of each endorsed biomedical equipment.
6. Assists other medical equipment staff in performing maintenance and repairs of assigned biomedical equipment.
7. Prepares and submits monthly work accomplished reports.

Qualifications/Requirements

SALARY GRADE: 8 – Php 19,744

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Completion of relevant two years studies in college or Completion of relevant medical laboratory technician course
Training: Four (4) hours of relevant training
Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience
Eligibility: Medical Equipment Technician (CSC MC No. 10, s. 2013 - Cat. II)
OFFICE: Personnel shall be detailed at Engineering Facilities and Equipment Management
