1. Perform major and minor repairs, PMS schedules and systematic trouble shooting of equipment undergoing preventive maintenance
2. Assist chief mechanic and Mechanic ll and lll in the major engine overhaul of equipment
3. Perform repair of components as follows:
a. Clutch disc/pressure plate assembly (replacement, rear drivelines, bearings and proper alignment
b. Steering system check-up/repair to include alignment of front suspension, repair/overhaul of steering pump, gear box and other related parts.
c. Rear suspension repairs (bogie unit repairs including spring / bushing and torque rods
d. Brake system check-up to include brake lining replacement, repair kits of valves and air brake master
4. Conduct systematic trouble shooting of major components as mentioned above.
5. Conduct minor electrical failures i.e., replacement of bulbs/fuses and welding jobs.
6. Perform other related duties as assigned.
