Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Shall be responsible for the company's projects' overall materials management (Project Assignment).

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
1. MATERIALS MANAGEMENT
  • Monitors and Check materials requirement
  • Reports and coordinates materials needed
  • Receives materials delivery on-site
  • Regularly updates the monitoring report of materials
  • Submits weekly materials monitoring report
  • Checks materials specifications

  • 2. MATERIALS STOCK AVAILABILITY/ISSUANCES
  • Approves materials requisition
  • Prior to approval of the Materials Request, conduct the following
  • Consolidates weekly requests of the contractors based on the Materials request provided
  • Checks if materials requests are in the approved Detailed Estimates
  • Checks if materials quantity request are still within the total quantity approved
  • Prepares PR for the consolidated and validated request
  • Distributes materials
  • Coordinates in advance needed materials that need to be available in the project

3. PURCHASE ORDER MONITORING
  • Monitors purchase orders
  • Updates Purchasing Section for materials delivered on-site
  • Updates the Purchasing section for undelivered materials on site
  • Process receiving of materials in the system

4. MATERIALS RECEIPT ENCODING IN THE WAREHOUSE RECEIVING PORTAL
  • Daily encodes materials received on-site in the Warehouse Receiving Portal
  • Submits copies of the Sales Invoices and Delivery Receipts to the Purchasing Section
5. REPORTS

6. PERFORMS OTHER TASKS THAT MAY BE ASSIGNED BY THE SUPERIOR FROM TIME TO TIME

Qualifications/Requirements

JOB SPECIFICATION
Education: Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree, a graduate of Engineering Course preferably Civil Engineer
Experience: With experience in handling construction materials

Competencies:
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications
  • With good oral and written communication skills
  • Willing to work in Laguna Province
  • Can drive a motorcycle or 4-wheel vehicle with a valid driver's license is an advantage
