Job Description

    • Fabricates, alters, repairs, and maintains walls, sidewalks, floors, manholes, and others related structures, or surfaces.
    • Prepares surfaces prior to beginning work.
    • Lays blocks or bricks following blueprints, plans, or drawing.
    • Identifies damage and then carries out repairs.
    • Determines work requirements and sequence of masonry assignments through review of work orders, plans, or drawings.
    • Mixes cement using hoes, cement mixing equipment, and/or hand tools.
    • Lay outs work using chalk lines, plumb bobs, tapes, square, and levels.
    • Estimates and materials cost.
    • Completes all duties according to applicable safety measures and published procedures.
    • Maintains a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • At least two (2) years of total experience, related in this field.
    • High School Graduate or Vocational Course.
