Position: Asst. Marketing Supervisor
Job Objectives
Asst. Marketing Supervisor is generally responsible for building brand equities of the company's product/s or line of products with the help of a cross-functional team, which includes other departments such as merchandising, marketing and sales. This collaboration, therefore, develops integrated positioning strategies to ensure maximum brand exposure for a company.
As part of the Brand Marketing team, the Asst. Marketing Supervisor is tasked to grow specific categories/ brand/s by setting up the right strategies for product, pricing, place and promotion based on consumer insights and trade understanding.
The deliverables of the Asst. Marketing Supervisor includes:
● Handles categories/ number of major brands and may have a team under them
● May develop people certain skill set to be able to work more harmoniously
● Developing the business plan by identifying the customer, the market and setting the strategy to best launch their brand
● Develops the communication plans for the brand/s assigned
● Cascades Planograms, point-of-purchase materials and visual merchandising guidelines for their brands
● End to end implementation of the brands – from coordinating closely with various departments in launching the brand in-store
● Business and Financial Analysis: sales tracking, analysis on what sells and understanding the trends of the product through data and setting up action plans to address profitability of the brand
● Ensure smooth coordination with the principal and able to negotiate for better margins/ free marketing collaterals/ additional support, etc
● Constantly monitors competition and updates management on these activities and price changes
● Works with interdepartments to ensure success of various projects and launches
● Authors improvements on the processes of the company
● In certain cases, does the responsibilities of a Brand Associate in addition to her role if assigned a brand.
