The Digital Marketing Specialist is at the forefront of overall brand management for his/her assigned brands. He/she is responsible for anything and everything that involves his/her assigned brands. This includes understanding the target audience, producing content, forging partnerships and maximizing opportunities for the brands. The Product Marketing Specialist's role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the products' success in the market.
Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy Planning
- Develops brand positioning and messaging that is consumer-centric and resonates with the target market
Market Research
- Conducts thorough industry research to understand consumer needs, preferences and competitive landscape
- Conducts consumer surveys/focus group discussions, analyzes data gathered and gives recommendations for future improvement
- Monitors campaigns and promotional activities of major competitors and produces Competitor Activity Report
Social Media Management
- Conceptualizes content plan for assigned brands across all relevant social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Threads, YouTube and the like) Produces photo and video content for posting on social media platforms in collaboration with assigned Graphics
- Generates quality copy for social media postings
- Works with Business Development and Activations to partner with relevant groups, influencers and the like. Ensures that partnerships are maximized on social media as well.
- Schedules regular postings on Facebook and Instagram
- Sets ads for sponsored content
- Creates periodic analysis report for activities done and results
Community Management
- Engages with FB and IG community by replying to relevant comments especially those with questions addressed to the brand
- Answers all customer queries and concerns on Facebook messenger, Instagram and official email address
- Coordinates with e-commerce specialists, customer service, sales and operations team with regards to customer inquiries and concerns as needed
Demand Planning
- Monitors stock inventory for assigned brands and forecasts offtake based on previous sales
- Suggests supplier purchase orders to minimize stockouts and overstock situations
- Works with sales to conduct moveout promotions as needed
Sales Management
- Coordinates with Business Development and sales representatives handling various channels including key accounts, food service and the like.
- Provides sales team with necessary resources, training and collaterals needed to effectively communicate brand features and value to customers.
- Works with the sales team to maximize store visibility/display as well as brand-initiated promotions
- Analyzes sales, looks for opportunities for growth and initiates plans to take action
- Gathers feedback from sales team for further improvement
Brand Metrics Analysis
- Creates regular brand and competitor activity reports
Website and E-Commerce Channels Content Management
- Regularly updates design and content of the brand/company website, Lazada, Shopee and Edamama (as well as other future e-commerce platforms)
- Ensures completeness of photos and that necessary product details are applied to product page design
- Develops relevant photo, video and article content that would improve brand visibility and searchability across the web
- Improves search engine optimization for the brands assigned
Promotions Management for Online Platforms
- Develops brand-initiated promotions for the various online platforms
- Ensures brand participation in relevant platform-initiated promotions and collections to maximize brand exposure and online sales
E-mail and SMS marketing
- Regularly creates materials for cascading to email newsletter subscribers
- Composes and arranges SMS communications for cascading to loyal customers
Partnerships and Events
- Collaborates with Sales, Business Development and Activations to build relationships with other companies and influencers for brand partnerships
- Ensures that all collaterals and communications involving the assigned brands are aligned with the brand's identity and goals
- Works with the team to maximize partnerships and events for the benefit of the assigned brands. This includes pre-event preparations, event coverage and post-event content
KOL Relationship Management
- Identify and establish relationships with relevant Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the industry.
- Collaborate with KOLs to create content that aligns with brand messaging and resonates with the target audience.
- Coordinate KOL participation in brand campaigns, ensuring their content amplifies brand visibility and engagement.
Influencer Partnerships
- Develop strategies to engage influencers who can positively impact brand perception and reach.
- Manage influencer partnerships to maximize their impact on social media and other digital platforms.
- Monitor and analyze influencer performance to optimize future collaborations.
Content Creation and Collaboration
- Work closely with KOLs and influencers to co-create compelling content for social media and other channels.
- Ensure that content created by KOLs aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

- Undertake additional tasks assigned from time to time.
