Organizational Context
The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) is the country’s foremost humanitarian organization, with a network of 102 chapters in 17 regions across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The overall objective of the PRC is to equip vulnerable communities with crisis prevention practices and orchestrate all forms of humanitarian activities tailored to alleviate the suffering and uplift the dignity of vulnerable people during and after conflict, natural and human-induced disasters, health emergencies, and other crises.
The PRC works to uphold and apply its seven fundamental principles: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality to its six major services: Blood Services, Disaster Management Services, Safety Services, Health Services, Social Services, Red Cross Youth and Volunteer Services.

PRC is led by its Chairman, Secretary General, and Board of Governors alongside its chapters, volunteers, and staff. It has its Headquarters in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila.
Job Purpose:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for designing and executing marketing strategies that enhance PRC’s public image and increase awareness of its fundraising projects. This position will focus on maximizing engagement, attracting donors, and promoting PRC's services to a broad audience. The role requires the ability to create effective marketing campaigns, monitor project outcomes, and collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Management:
Design campaigns that appeal to diverse donor bases, utilizing both traditional and digital marketing channels (social media, email marketing, events, etc.).
Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies to optimize results.
Collaboration with Fund Generation Teams:
Work closely with the Fund Generation Director and other departments to support PRC’s fundraising initiatives.
Provide marketing support for fundraising events and resource generation activities.
Donor Engagement:
Develop and implement strategies for donor retention, recognition, and acknowledgment, ensuring consistent communication and building lasting relationships.
Create marketing materials that appeal to potential and existing donors, enhancing their connection with PRC’s mission.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct feasibility studies to explore new marketing opportunities for fundraising and PRC services.
Analyze market trends and adjust marketing plans accordingly to ensure competitiveness and relevance.
Content Creation:
Oversee the creation of content for marketing collateral, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.
Work with the Communications team to produce compelling stories and messages that inspire action.
Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:
Create and execute marketing programs that support fundraising efforts and PRC’s core services, such as blood donation campaigns, safety training, and emergency services.
Develop and oversee marketing strategies that align with the organizational goals and improve brand recognition.
