Job Description

Purpose of the role

The Digital Marketing Analyst will work to help increase revenue and awareness within our client portfolio by using a variety of data, tools, and insights within the framework of Amadeus Hospitality Digital Marketing Suite of products. This role is key to support hotels' business needs and drive demand to the client website.

In this role you’ll:

  • Deliver digital marketing services for a portfolio of up to 30 independent hotels and up to 8 mid groups of up to 15 properties tiered as Basic and Premium ongoing service, as well as up to 20 SEO and Web Analytics implementation projects, with special focus on onsite optimization, technical web audits, Local SEO, GMB and recommendations, as well as on Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics reporting and data analysis and content marketing plan and execution.
  • Provide Web Analytics reporting for our client portfolio by using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Google Search Console, and other tools (Bing Webmaster tools, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, MOZ, etc.) to diagnose and improve web performance results for our clients. Conduct quarterly or monthly calls for business reviews with clients according to their service.
  • Build and implement an analytical measurement plan from scratch and be adept at all aspects of data analysis. Develop strategic digital marketing plans based on research, data, and insights from using tools including, but not limited to: SEM Rush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console.
  • Address concerns from clients or other stakeholders by effectively problem solving. Recognize and get to the bottom of problems, track down possible causes of problems and establish connections, differentiate between primary and secondary issues. Compare factual data, possible procedures, and different solution pathways and arrive at realistic conclusions. Be involved with client pitches and sales support as needed.
  • Project manage the assigned list of clients with excellent organizational skills, which are fundamental for the role, as well as actively participate and collaborate effectively in internal team meetings. Strong communication skills are needed to deal with clients and other departments always looking for a win-win situation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends on Digital Marketing, conducting research to build monthly case studies for our clients. Follow main SEO and Web Analytics blogs and news and proactively share updates in team meetings and within client meetings.

Qualifications/Requirements

About the ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a focus on Marketing, Hospitality/Tourism, or Computer Science
  • 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, SEO, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality
  • Experience in Digital Marketing, including Web Analytics, SEO, Paid Media, Content Marketing, and Social Media
  • Basic understanding of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and other relevant coding languages; familiarity with the design process, UX and Usability, Design tools, and basic knowledge of SEO.
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus but not necessary
  • Open to work in a hybrid set-up.
